Food in China


Food in China is traditionaly made up of mainly 8 dishes. These are called Hui, Yue, Min, Xiang, Yang, Lu, Chaun and Zhe. Today they are 4 main styles of dishes, Beijing Style, Shanghai Style, Sichuan/Szechuan Style or Cantonese Style. Chineese food mainly consistis of rice, noodles and/or vegtables. Traditionally the food is prepared in bitsize pieces so it is easier to eat with chopsticks. There are many variations of dishes in China.
